    Great burger selection - got the Paradiso and subbed for turkey since I don't eat beef. It was sooooo good! Big portion, spicy, and delicious! Price is not too bad either considering this is Union Square. However, they charge for ranch - $2!!! That is ridiculous, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, if you're coming for the burgers, you'll enjoy. Definitely want to try the shakes next time.

    Burger Bar is a place where my wife loves to go when she's in the mood for a burger visiting SF in the Union Square area. It's located on the 6th floor of Macy's in Union Square. The wait most of the time is 30+ minutes, more during peak times. Lobster Salad - 5/5 I decided to order the lobster salad in stead of the wide selection of burgers. The lobster salad came with avocado, lots and lots of crumbled bacon, ample amount of halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumbers and a whole lobster tail. The amount of dressing mixed with the salad was perfect. Build your burger - 5/5 The burger meat was huge! About 1/2 lb burger patty. It was cooked medium as requested, not medium well or well done as you would expect. The burger tasted as if was broiled over charcoal. Very tasty. The bun was excellent. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, refilled our beverage as needed. Overall, the food at Burger Bar is excellent. I subtracted a point for the price. You'll fork up over $20 dollars for the cheapest burger, or over $35 for a specialty meat burger. Pricey for a burger. If you don't mind forking out big bucks for a burger, Burger Bar is your place.
